All candidates across the Midlands are currently running unopposed in this early stage of the primaries. In the West Midlands, Labour newcomer Tom Rhayader faces no challengers, while Terrence Flores (NPP) is unopposed for Labour in the East. Conservative candidates Benjamin Lombardi (NPP) in the West and Sandra Powell (NPP) in the East are also uncontested. For the local elections, Ronald Clark, Amanda Flores, and Emily Hunt are standing in the West Midlands for Labour, the Conservatives, and the Liberal Democrats respectively. In the East Midlands, Elizabeth Reed, Mei Kennedy, and Ruth Klein are the respective candidates.
