Mitsubishi Corporation condemns the recent U.S. tariff measures against Japanese exports as a disruption to fair and reciprocal global trade. Effective immediately, the Corporation will reallocate strategic investment and expansion toward Japan, Germany, and the United Kingdom, with a reduced emphasis on future growth in the United States pending restoration of equitable trade conditions. Operational continuity in the U.S. will remain, but all non-essential expansion is suspended. In response to the escalating policy environment, Mitsubishi Corporation confirms the expanded role of the Mitsubishi Japanese Public Affairs Committee (MJPAC) to coordinate strategic policy monitoring and industrial alignment across Mitsubishi Group networks. — Ryuji Nakamura, Chief Executive Officer PS I call other japanese companies to do the same
