Address by the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care upon appoitnment

In my recent appointment as Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, I have already made the following changes: Using the gap-to-100 method, I have determined the required amount of funding for every area in our nation. No longer will everyone get an equal share of money, but now places that need the healthcare will get the healthcare. Areas of concern are particularly within Northern Ireland, Wales, and the West Midlands. In light of this, they have received more funding compared to areas such as London which boast the highest Healthcare Quality in the country. Upon entering office, I immediately gave the Ministerial Orders to give NHS Emergency Funding and Social Care Investment in the key areas of the West Midlands and Wales. It is one of the greatest honours to have been appointed to such a prestigious role, one the state was setup to do; save lives. In that sense, I will continue striving to ensure our healthcare quality rises above and beyond.
