After running through the numbers, the Rt. Hon. Sheev Palpatine MP, Leader of HM Loyal Opposition, noticed that something wasn't quite right with the National Budget, and determined that income taxes were not being properly collected. After soliciting an audience with HM THE QUEEN (Danica), these issues have been resolved. As such, our deficit has been cut to a mere £190bn, and we can once again return to our favourite national pastime: laughing at the Americans, feeling superior, and ignoring our own problems.
