Happy International Workers Day from the Labour Party

Our great party's storied history has many points of pride and shame, and for better and worse, Labour has been the architect of modern Britain's great institutions. The NHS, Trident, National Rail, British Leyland, the Minimum Wage, SureStart, Devolution, the Supreme Court, and much more besides. Founded by the Labour Representation Committee in 1900, we carry the flame even now, and the British Labour Party recommits itself to the unending struggle for the liberation of working peoples everywhere. Though cowards flinch, and traitors sneer, we'll keep the red flag flying here. Happy International Worker's Day, and spare a thought for the blood of those who came before us this May Bank Holiday.
