Conservatives and Reform Projected for Commons Majority
Rt Hon James Bond MP·

The Conservative–Reform coalition is projected to secure a parliamentary majority as counting continues across the United Kingdom, according to the latest projections. With 326 seats required for overall control of the House of Commons, the Conservatives are forecast to win 264 seats, while Reform UK is projected to secure 65 — placing the coalition comfortably above the threshold at 329 seats combined. Labour currently trails on 153 seats, with Alternative for Britain projected on 45. The Concerned Craiglang Pensioners Party, once a major coalition force, has collapsed to just 26 seats amid ongoing defections and internal decline. The projected result marks a dramatic recovery for the Conservatives following months of economic turmoil and coalition instability. Analysts point to the coalition’s previous 50% approval rating while in government as a major factor behind the surge, with supporters backing its promises on economic nationalism, immigration control and energy security.
