PM STATEMENT ON NUCLEAR POWER

Let me tell you about benches. Very important, very underrated. A bench has to be strong. It has to hold. And not every bench can do it. Some collapse immediately, very embarrassing situation. Now, I look at what we’ve built, and I have to say, it’s incredible. People are saying it. They come up to me, they say, ‘PM, this is one of the strongest governments we’ve ever seen.’ And I say, you know what, they might be right. Not particularly related to us being the only real Government. Because it takes a certain kind of leadership, you know, to build something that actually holds under pressure. Not everyone can do it. In fact, most people can’t. And when the moment came, when everything was on the line, when they said, ‘Let’s test it': well, we tested it.
