DO NOT SUPPORT THE SOCIAL REFORM ACT!

The Social Reform Act, sponsored by Ashton Gilbert, proposes radical changes that threaten democracy and social stability. Its first provision abolishes devolved governments, centralizing power in Westminster and silencing regional voices. This risks ignoring local needs and reigniting regional tensions. The second provision slashes welfare payments, imposes strict limits, and mandates community service, punishing vulnerable citizens rather than supporting them. Such austerity undermines social security and economic growth. The third provision promises transparency but risks being a political tool rather than genuine reform, especially when paired with centralization and welfare cuts. This Act sacrifices democratic balance and social safety for ideological austerity. It is a dangerous gamble that could fracture the nation and harm those who need support most.
