A Bottleneck in Japan
Penúltimo·
Japan should use a subsidy-led framework to rebuild its energy and oil sector, with the government directly supporting fuel supply, electricity, grid upgrades, storage, and industrial expansion while corporations scale up production and investment; a national Oil and Energy corporation could act as the anchor for this effort, coordinating imports, refining, logistics, and strategic reserves to stabilize prices and reduce shock risk, and the goal would be simple: subsidize the sector first, then let private corps grow it into a stronger, more resilient base for the whole economy.
