Last night was the most chaotic, wild, unbelievable night this Senate has seen in a generation. Leaders collapsed. Alliances crumbled. Men who thought they were untouchable found out fast that nobody is untouchable in this city. And through ALL of it, every twist, every shock, every moment they told us it was over, this coalition did not break. Not once. Not even close. Re-elected as your Senate Minority Leader. 27 Democrats. 9 Democratic Socialists. 8 Pacific Independence senators. The most POWERFUL, most BATTLE-HARDENED bloc this Senate has EVER seen, still standing, still unified, still HUNGRY. They have the White House. And they are STILL scrambling to find enough votes to stop us on that floor. Think about that. Patience didn't save Pete Wilson. It buried him. ACT ACCORDINGLY.
