Jaguar Motors
Jaguar Motors PLC is a British automotive manufacturer headquartered in the United Kingdom. As of 2033, the company maintains operations in the United Kingdom, the United States, Germany, and Japan.
History
Jaguar traces its origins to 2026, when the organization was established as a Formula One (F1) team known as Scuderia Toro Rosso (STR). During this period, heavy tariffs from the United States impacted the automotive industry, making it difficult for the company to break even. At peak, the company was losing up to £24,000 per turn, and only levelled out at £424 after funding was pulled from marketing and R&D. Following a corporate restructuring and rebranding initiative, the company became known as the Atlassian Williams F1 Team, and as US tariffs were lifted, the company’s revenue grew. At this point, the company began investing in sectors in Germany and Japan.
After departing Formula One in May, the company underwent another rebranding process and adopted the name Jaguar Motors, shifting its focus toward automotive manufacturing.
